So I went hunting yesterday morning and burried my truck balls deep in a snowbank to park. After some back and forth in 4 hi and lo, i got it out no problem and it was fine all day yesterday. Last night it was about 10* F and when I started it a few minutes ago these lights are flashing on the dash, almost like strobing more than flashing. I turned the truck off but as soon as I put the key in the ignition it happens again. I'm going to go to the dealer tomorrow but curious what it might be? Frozen/ice/snow on the sensors is what i've read a bit online about. whatcha think?

Take a look and see if you broke a wheel speed sensor or associated wiring

Maybe the TTS sensor in covered in or frozen snow around it. Disconnect battery for a while too.

It still happens occasionally. It seems to happen most when I try to remote start my truck when it's wicked cold. once the truck warms up enough it more of less stops, but it fucks with my remote starter and causes it to not correctly start then over cranks the starter. The dealer said it left no code adn by the time they started the truck it was warm and the lights didn't flash. I have a video of it. I'll see if I can post it.

I figured mine out. There was a slight calcium carbonate(?) build up on the (+) pin in my speed sensor. There was a little blue “hair” and the positive pin had some slight yellowing (corrosion). It was super difficult to see this, had to look in direct sunlight. I used a q-tip dipped in vinegar (5% acidity) to clean the pins on the sensor. This was the only pin out of all 4 sensors that looked this way.

I jumped the #4 and #13 pins on the obd which gave me the DTC ABS code 31 & 35. And Slip Code 43 and 47. Which confirmed it was the right front wheel sensor (or harness).

I’m pretty confident the issue is solved, it’s only been 3 days but those lights were coming on at least once per day.
