Oh, that I have. All of the beds have the metal “liner”. I’m talking about something to cover that and extend further to protect more of the underside.

 

Tell ya the honest truth, I’ve never seen a “bad” set

 

And to think I almost replaced my whole LCA cause I thought it was time for the bushings to be replaced...$300 saved!

Yes. These trucks suffer from
Wheel well rot out here.

 

But have you heard a bad set? Mine were awfully loud. In retrospect, there is no way to keep these bushings if the cams are seized and need cutting out.

If your bushings are not squeaking and you can get a proper alignment with un-seized cams then keep what you have for sure. I know I would have.

 

Alignment issues always happen before the bushings go bad around here

 

That was my case, but the bushings were squeaky squeaky for a few years prior to finding out the seized cams.

 

I know its a random question that may have been covered somewhere else (and if it has don't stone me) but since I live in central Florida twice a year Love bugs get pretty bad. Is there any good recommendations to keep my paint from getting bad.
Again not trying to derail any ongoing conversation just popped in my head.

 

Former Orlando/Clermont resident here. I would just wash it at least once a quarter and wax it twice a year. Claybar then wax would be great if you've never done that. I can't imagine bugs hurting the paint too much. Bird Shit is a lot worse. Always wash that off ASAP.

 

Well my truck was dwarfed by an excursion

 

So I just made a 120 mile round trip bonsai run to pickup a set of wheels for my FZJ 80 Land Cruiser project, but they my end up on the Tundra.

 

well, i ordered some Herts k170 speakers for the doors. 6 3/4" crutchfield say should fit, we shall see

 

Those are my favorite OEM Toyota truck/SUV wheels...nice find!

They look like my Ray 10's without my terrible beadlock. What vehicles did these originally come on?

Also, I know you'll know this. Are all the 6 lug wheels the same bolt pattern? Meaning if we see any Toyota/Lexus truck or SUV with 6 lugs can we assume they are all interchangeable?

 

4runners and fj cruisers I believe

 

They were available on 4Runners (Trail editions I believe) 2010-2013 and FJ Cruisers 2011-2014,
and yes, all 6 lug Toyota truck/suvs are 6x5.5 (139.7)

 

Not too bad if you are patient...I was going to wait till I found a set of those wheels for $400 or less , which is not that hard if you are willing to wait (they pop up every few months on FB or CL around here), when I was ready to update my suspension/tires, but then to run the 255/80R17s like I wanted to I would have had to run spacers to push the tires out to be even with the fender flairs, and by that time you are looking at $600+ for 4 wheels. With that BF sale, I got all 5 of my TRD Pros for not that much more on my timeline, so I went with those. Still love those wheels though...

I think you misread what he was saying. I was asking if all 6 lug tucks/suv's could share the same wheels. He was just confirming that.

 

Yea, I was answering a question about 6 Lug Toyota/SUV wheels...but since we are talking about 5 lugs now too....the first 4x4 Toyota to move to 5 lugs was the 1998 LC100 (and LX450)...

Great deal! I just saw the same set of 5 for $1200 used GC around here.

 

I see the silver ones, but usually in sets of 4 with tires I don't want. These are charcoal which are more rare, and I like better. I can choose my own tires.

 

Its hard to tell with that lighting in your pic so I didn’t realize they were charcoal.

 

4runner & FJ Cruiser Trail Edition. I think the FJ Cruisers got the charcoal & 4runners got the silver. I think only for 2-3 years.
