Hi guys, I have a 2001 tundra and am looking to install a 7 way harness. I've read on here that this year didn't come with a trailer brake wiring harness, however my truck has a new frame from Toyota and in the rear bumper there are two connectors, one with 8 wires and one with 5 and they are in dummy plugs. it appears these wire come up under the driver seat but once inside the cab there are only 3 wires in the bundle. I would really appreciate any insight on how these trucks are wired/routed and what i must do or look for. Thanks!!

The 7 way trailer harness should plug into the 2 connectors at your bumper and the 3 wires in the cab should connect to a trailer brake controller wire harness.
