Hi everyone I want to know if replacing my factory TRD off road shocks with the new FOX Shocks would be worth it.

    Benefits and height change etc?

Second how do I get ahold of the new FOX suspension since I heard on PRO owners can buy them.
    Any thoughts

If you are only looking for a more capable stock height suspension then the Pro suspension may be what you are looking for but if you plan on lifting at all, you may be better off looking at the FOX (or other) branded suspension parts; especially considering the price.

Only Pro owners are supposed to be able to buy them but pretty much any dealer can find a TRD Pro VIN to order the parts.

Sparks parts sells the individual parts:
TRD Pro Fox Suspension - Rear Shock - Toyota (PTR61-34190-RR)
TRD Pro Fox Suspension - Front Left Spring and Shock - Toyota (PTR61-34190-LF)
TRD Pro Fox Suspension - Front Right Spring and Shock - Toyota (PTR61-34190-RF)

Thanks for information and part numbers.

I was thinking the TRD FOX suspension may lift the truck up at least another inch or two from the stock height. Or at the very least act as a leveling kit to bring the front end up just a little.

Guess I would have to find a PRO and do some measurements or see if the factory has spacers I would have to buy as well?

Mainly looking for the best suspension for ride quality and performance without changing control arms or anything to give Toyota a reason to screw with the warranties I paid for.

The Fox Pro suspension raises the front end about 2", the rear is the same height as stock trucks I believe

I’d go with the fox 2.5s over the pro suspension and I’m sure they are pretty close in price.

Both the TRD PRO Billys and the TRD PRO Fox shocks level the front 2”. There is no lift effect on the rear for either type of PRO shocks.

Thanks for all the replying. Lifting the front a couple of inches sounds pretty good.
I will definitely look at the shocks from FOX as this would most likely be the company I would use.
Think Ill find a PRO and try to park next to it just to get a good visual.
Does anyone have a PRO with the FOX shocks that can let me know how the ride is on the pavement.
    Thanks

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
Don’t forget to measure the before and after of install of new parts. So you’ll know if any thing happens.
On level ground, measure from center of the wheel well opening on fenders and bed to the ground.
    Good luck.
