Well, after many blown fuses and strings of profanity, I finally figured out the wiring issue with my new Recon Red Smoked taillights. :yay: In the end, I'm very pleased with the results! Bastards don't look half bad.:thumbsup:20200201_143002.jpg 20200201_143049.jpg 20200201_143134.jpg

The wiring coming from the truck for the tail lamps was not your standard black/red/green. Took me a bit of trial and error to figure out which wires from the truck corresponded to the light wires. I couldn't find my volt meter either.

They look great. I almost bought those but i was worried about daytime visibility. I went with the Spider red smoke. These look good on ur truck though

Yeah, daytime visibility ain't the greatest. The tail lamps could use a bit more brightness, but the signals and reverse lights are very visible. They match my truck better than my previous Spyders, and night time visibility is great. Appreciate the compliment!

You have a Crew Max with 6.5ft bed?
Or is it the decals throwing me off??

His truck is a one off beautiful Frankenstein creation. It's the most custom truck I've seen, as his changes aren't just bolt on items. Not a "true" 3rd gen, and a longer bed on a crew max. All tastefully done too.

6.5ft bed conversion is easily $11k. It does void any and all power train warranty tho...

It’s basically the perfectly proportioned Tundra!

    And now with RECONS!
