What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Took my daughter’s truck to the dealer shop this morning and they put on the front and rear shocks. They used her front springs and put them on the TRD red and blue shocks and her truck is an 18 TSS SR5 2 WD. Before we got out of the parking lot she was calling me telling me how much more smooth it is. Then we came home and I had her help put the rear TRD sway bar on. She went for a drive an could not believe how planted her truck felt!! Her truck road like a brick but it is smooth now. She also said is sits differently but I could not tell. So,,,, the front springs on a 2018 TSS SR5 2WD Tundra CrewMax fit on the TRD red and blue shocks and they made a truck that road like a brick ride very smooth. The new TRD sway bar also help firm up the truck and in the rear. Her 2018 now rides like a new truck and does not take the bumps so hard!!!

 

Just passed 4,700 miles, so I figured it was time for first ferry ride

Had a Tuff Country 2" billet aluminum leveling kit installed at Les Schwab this morning.

 

Thanks for the pic of a Cav Blue with flares on it! Continual debate in my head on that.

 

They came on the truck when I bought it. I like them, I think it makes the Cavalry Blue pop even more.

 

If you are referring to the clip spot, just good drilling and patience w install should be good to go. Have no issues with mine, just double checked and all is good

Took the truck out to the desert with a buddy for a test run to get the Elka compression settings dialed. Super happy with the setup now and a great day.

 

Upgraded the front turn signals and reverse bulbs to LEDs, man what a difference!...the 2020 Platinum is officially all LEDs inside and out...here’s some before and afters of the turn signals to show the difference, it’s unreal...don’t have any “before” pics of reverse lights, but you can still see how bright they are!...well worth the $34 ($17 for each set)

 

How did Schwab do? They've botched a few jobs of mine, so I don't trust them with anything more complicated than repacking bearings.

 

I looked everything over the best I could and didn't see any issues. When I stopped in earlier this week to order the kit they had another Tundra on the rack doing the same thing, so hopefully they're experienced. The local store also gets a 4.6 out of 5 rating for 102 Google Reviews.

 

I found it on eBay little over a year ago. Since then I have not been able to find it. When I go to search past orders the like to this one does not come up anymore.

I have a very similar board on my truck. Mine are OE Toyota, part number is PT925-34183.

 

Color matches mirror cover and handles. Took about 5 mintues to do all 4. Debating taking the black off of the pillars between the windows

 

Been debating removing that vinyl as well...
