Thought I’d share an easy way to mask off brakes/hub for painting. Went to the dollar store and bought a pack of kids play cards (Paw patrol;)) and some cheap table place mats. Custom cut the placemat and stuff cards in where needed. Boom. Plus the cards and placemats ar totally reusable for the next project. :)

Hopefully that’s your winter tires and rims.

I think those are his 'everyday' rims ... From what I recall @Mountun Goat is saving for something special that is currently a secret, LOL.

BTW @Mountun Goat ... You should let me know what you're looking at and see if my kid can get you a better price - he gets some pretty amazing wheel/tire deals. I come through Jasper often enough I'm sure we could meet up if you're interested.

Nice diy tips. Are you repainting your rims? I always thought the purple and gold were rocking.

Its funny my wife says the same things about the house renos. You know i cant do anything to the truck, or buy myself a new tool, or anything that i want. Until "I" finish the house renos.

Same here haha. I am painting the rims, I liked the purple too, just got sick of it. That’s actually a part of buying aftermarket rims is I will have to leave them alone! ;)

Cool looking forward to seeing how they turn out. Im going to be painting my winters with the same rim once the snow melts. New rims would be nice but ultimately i like to paint things.

Understand but do and some pink in there to make it look like a flower. You’ll blend with Mother Nature.
