Chevy knows their are idiots out there loyal to their brand that didn’t splurge on the raptor but would on a Chevy version.

Man, I'm not getting one, but I'm a sucker for fiberglass fenders. They look so good.

Yep! For that type of money why not make a LT Tundra with a supercharger.....it would destroy a Raptor.

With a warranty? Not knocking tundras or raptors, but one is not the other and never will be. Enough time and money will make x faster than or bigger than y. I guess a ridiculous v8 Miata is a good example of this. It can be faster than many high dollar cars, but it will never be a Ferrari even if it can beat one.

Skip the SC and add headers if you want to help preserve the warranty. All the Jackal is, is a Chevy with a Baja kits LT kit. The Tundra can get pretty close the the same wheel travel numbers with bolt in coilovers and new leafs and shocks out back. So for about $12,000 (headers, suspension, wheels, tires, ect) you can make a Tundra just as capable as the Jackal and on par with a 1st gen Raptor.

I agree with most of that. I think you can actually make a tundra better than a first gen raptor with the exception of the semi rarity and the electronic gizmos of traction control and such that are touted to be good on the first gen and even better on the newer ones.
I'm just waiting for the aftermarket to catch up and get the livewire system for everybody to utilize. If I was a computer guy I would be looking at using that setup.

I think it’s because they’re selling under msrp. Any deadbeat with a check stub and a pulse can get 0 down financing now.

    It’s the “Reaper” of 2020’s.
Looks more aggressive than stock and morons can option it from a dealer shit to get 8yrs no money down financing.

As for Raptors... Ford made a lot more of them in 2019/2020 and the “cache” or exclusivity is now gone. Used values are taking a hammering as well.
8yr financing is an option and you can now lease a raptor .
Now when get a relapse of Raptor fever I just go rent somebody else’s on Turo.

I absolutely despise the front grill of the new Silverado and Sierra, the last gen was the best looking truck ever IMHO and they completely ruined it!
