I was under my 05 4.7 double cab the other day and noticed my transmission line comes forward and goes into the lower radiator. Then it leaves the radiator and goes directly to the cooler in front of the radiator. From there directly back to the transmission. I thought there was a thermostat somewhere to bypass the cooler to prevent over cooling, or at least allowing the fluid to warm up to operating temp faster. Or is the cooler like the aftermarket ones where internally it bypasses the cooling part until it reaches a certain temp?
