It's just a fast piece of shit, just means it will be at the dealership service department alot quicker. So, that will be a big NO, for me.

They spent all that money on the truck to go against the raptor and it has less travel than a factory tundra? Did I hear that correctly or was that just what I wanted to hear?

 

I think if they say they are making a chevy answer to the raptor they should at least start out with as much hp as a raptor, I am not impressed.

 

I've owned 2 GM trucks;
1988 GMC and a 1994 Chevy ext cab.
Neither were as reliable and trouble free as my 2005 and 2014 Tundras.

No way I'd take a step backwards...

IMO I’d never trade the reliability, dependability, and longevity of my toyota.

Like it or not, what this tells me is the Ford Raptor is selling like hotcakes. Why else would Chevrolet do this other than to cash in on this market. $85,000 is a lot of money!

I have been seeing A LOT more raptors around KC lately than I ever have before. I might I see more of them than I do tundras. The fact that it's close enough for me to wonder tells me Ford is selling a lot of them.

I think it looks pretty cool, especially since Chevy is competing with Dodge for Ugliest Truck On The Market right now.
I can’t see myself going back to Chevy anytime soon though. I don’t miss the issues I used to have with them.

Yeah... I'd still rather have a raptor. The only thing I like about Chevys of the past 30 years is the standardization of the ls style engines. Sure helps ghetto fabricators like myself out.

 

i though it strange that they would use the 442 badging. i immediately thought of the Olds Cutlass 442.
