They might be the rarest Tundras...I think I've only ever come across two of them (never seen one in person)..and I've been shopping them for 12+ years!

Yeah I honestly thought he was mistaken until he posted that. Are those special wheels?

They even used it as the main pic on the 2003 brochure...

Strange my limited didn't come with wood grain or leather. But the PO may have swapped it out since the VIN claims it had a bench when I has buckets

Very closely mirrors what I was charged 2 months ago for what you accomplished and then some. While I had a number of "holy shit", "Dang that's high" type comments when I presented my receipt, opinions do change undoubtedly given some of the present feedback. At the end of the day tho, when someone is personally satisfied with the work they received, others opinions are respected, regardless if we might not agree.

Your "shooting for 500K" is very achievable, just continue with proper maintenance.

I drive by a wrecking yard on the highway every day. Yesterday I took a good long peek and got all horny thinking I saw my 4wd donor truck. Called the place and unfortunately it was just another 2wd TRD like mine. Plus the guy thought it was made of gold or something, every price he threw out was downright nuts. Kind of makes sense though, usually out here if its a Toyota and it still rolls, its on its way to old Mexico the second is unhooked from the tow.

Ya its weird, It seems the sport offered more stuff like the LSD and swaybar but they are so uncommon! I wonder what the price difference was.

I guess I got a rare tundra boys!

Ya i dont think they are that rare, I seen then all the time by me. Mine where like this dark silver though which I dont see alot of. If they didnt have so much positive off-set I would have kept them.

The wheels are not rare, but the TRD Sport is apparently very rare. Thanks for sharing that.

And are we talking about this rim comparison -

Started some more work... Only had limited time today to work on it, so I replaced the rear inner axle seal and then did the diff-breather relocate. Mines up behind the driver-side taillight now. I didn't have time to replace the drums/shoes/hardware etc. That's a tomorrow thing ...

But I did have time to add some LED fogs, as I had 15 minutes left after the axle seal was done.

On my way to pickup the camper shell now!

Oxygen Sensor, Bank 1, Sensor 1. MIL started popping up a few weeks ago, cleared it a few times and it always came back.

O2 sensor from Rockauto, 02 sensor socket from Harbor Freight.

A regular ratchet would not break it loose, had to move up to stage 1 breaker bar. Had a Johnson bar ready, but did not need it.

A picture of the underside. You press on the connector tab, then separate the connectors. Drivers side easy peazy, Passenger side looks challenging!

If you get the OEM butt warmer buttons running please let us know how you wired them up (assuming you have the factory wiring in place).

I think your truck would look really good with those paired with 285/70's.

I think so, as well. Gonna wait and see at least 3 more years till the next ‘Re-Investment’ Round. My 16” tires only have 8k miles on them so they need to go the full time period.

Good thing is these wheels pop up on a somewhat regular basis. Might be more Toy wheels available in 3 years?

Picked my truck up today after having the following done:

Bilstein 6112/5160s installed...6112s set to 2 inches of lift
Freedom Offroad UCA (this is their updated design that does not make contact with the coil spring bucket)
    LBJs
    Wheeler's AAL in the rear.
    Energy Suspension steering rack bushings
5 Falken Wildpeak AT3 255/80R17 E-rated tires mounted and balanced on 5 TRD Pro Wheels
    Alignment
Oil Change Mobil 5W-30 and OEM Toyota Filter

We left the overload leaf in and I'm glad we did. The ride is good and I think if we took the overleaf out it would have been front high. 14 years and 90K miles is probably enough for the stock springs, so I don't think I would have gotten much lift without leaving the overload in. I suspected that I would need a whole new leaf pack if I continue my camper build-out and this kinda of confirms it. Looks good now for the cost, but I'll be keeping my eyes on those Archive Garage Shackleton leaf packs for the next 6 months or so.

Next up is my X-TRON HU install with backup and front facing cameras (plan to do that myself on the first good weather weekend)....and @KarmaKannon has got my fingers twitching to order some heated leather seats...I already found some OEM switches...:D

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out....it will be interesting to see where it settles out. My dumbass forgot to take measurements before I dropped the truck off...:(

I've had them before on other vehicles...I like them. I subscribe to the theory that they are superior to fatter tires off-road in 90% of situations and they are less rolling resistance on road...but that's kinda mitigated by the e-rating. I also like the way they look...but that's subjective.

You salty dog. I don't exactly mind my aftermarket seat heater switches, but the factory ones fit right in the weird egg shaped holes.
