    Hello,
I will be getting a 2020 SR5 CM TRD off-road in the next few weeks. Will be having dealer install 6112's up front at 2.5" with a shim on driver's side. Hoping I don't need new UCAs.

What I can't decide on is what to do in the rear. I definitely want the rear end to sit higher than the front, and I pull a 4,500 lb camper all summer and will have it loaded up with hunting gear and firewood all Fall. I definitely won't be doing a block in the back. I was thinking of doing shackles and 5160's, but wonder if I should pair an AAL with a +1.5" shackle to provide lift and prevent slouching when I tow?

    Thoughts or advice greatly appreciated.

Maybe set the 6112s at 2”? Then you can get the 2” Add A Leaf kit and keep the factory rake perfect for the TSS. I’ve had the AAL kit and it was really nice and easy. Maintained the factory ride too. To prevent the sag you could get Timbrens but I’ve found they slap on small bumps... theyre really best when the truck is loaded down. Or if you want to spend more and really eliminate the sag... you could always get air bags.

Great question. If I towed I would ask the same thing. I’ve got 5160 with Coach Builder 3s on the back. My Bilstien 6112 st the top setting with out shims and I have about 1” of rake. If I tow my friends bass boat the truck will sit down about level

Air bags in the back..air in when towing, air out when not. That way you keep a smooth ride when not towing.

A lot of members complain about ride stiffness with those shocks maxed out, you may want to try a lower setting in combination with a Toytec/Coachbuilder top plate spacer for that last inch of lift.

You'll probably want to run at a minimum 1.5-2" blocks/shackles to keep a rake, or air bags like Jeremyd said.

1.5” shackles and I’d get air bags when towing.
