1st Gen. Lunch Table - General Discussion

A place for the awesome 1st Gen. Tundra owners!!

 

Let's start this off right. Its Saturday, so who has plans besides first gen stuff? I'm about to drop off a clutch, AL subframe bushings, and an oil pan gasket with my other 91 SHO so my mechanic friend can replace it all. Then, time to do the front brakes on my 13 E250 work van.

 

I’m getting hungry with all the talk about lunch. Might crawl under the truck today to inspect the axle work done yesterday. Gotta make sure my brake peek-a-boo rubber covers were put back properly.

I'm trying to decide what to do today.

Could do drums on truck.
Could do valves on Honda.
Could do oil and rotate tires on GTI.
Could move my computer and load a truck video.
Need to dig up a few small plants and cut some branches from my palm tree.

 

Alright guys. I have great news. I have located another fabricator for 1st gen front and rear bumpers. Prepare to be amazed!
















They are high clearance, low cost, and built to withstand any impacts!

 

You could crack a tinnie and make all those things easier!

 

I wonder if there are any weight savings involved with this mod?

Getting ready for FND on sunday(family night dinner 17ppl) cleaning the house sweeping the porch, cleaning out the pot belly. Hopefully later I will be able to work on the rear bumper

Hell yeah, when I bbq dinner, I can get the lower part glowing red. I moved it further under the porch, to keep more heat under there. I just need to get some 90s to extend the flue

 

This is the stuff boys. Next time I do a brake bleed/flush this is the stuff. Germans make good stuff.

 

I drove the '07 all over town running errands and scaring the natives this morning... the '02 is parked, resting up for it's next round of service calls.

Picked up rotors for the e250. I'm second guessing my decision to do this myself. It says it needs new bearings and seals too.

 

Double digging our side garden, then will start planting. Gonna try everything from seed this year.

 

Hmm. Do I work on the tundra today or not when I get home... still gotta fuck with the radio.
