Okay guys here we have my new to me 2007 CrewMAX.

I was looking around in the engine bay today and noticed that so me of the nuts holding the fan clutch onto the water pump pulley are missing/damaged.

Has anybody else experienced this and how did you come about fixing the situation?

I have looked at parts diagrams and the studs are part of the water pump.

It seems to me like the best route to take if the replacement bolts won’t go on, is remove the fan and clutch, radiator shroud, take the belt and pulley off and re-tap the studs?

Looks like someone took it off prior and didn't have the right tools to hold the fan clutch still. That's pretty sh!tty

Might be one of those situations where as long as it works, leave it be. Might be causing yourself a bigger headache.

I have a major squeal coming from the truck. It doesn’t go away at idle and gets worse with speed. I noticed that the serpentine belt is missing 1 whole rib, closest to the front facing the radiator. It has been cut off you can see the uneven rubber and the empty groove on all the pulleys

I want to make sure the WP pulley is seated/bolted true as it should be.

I will also inspect the tensioner and idler pulleys when i have the belt off for the inspection to see what’s going on
