Im keeping my Current Tundra until at least one year after the Hybrid is introduced... So I guess I have a minute.

Wonder what the tow ratings will be on a hybrid I'm sure I wouldn't be able to pull my camper with it.

Latest rumors are in the 15k lb range. I've seen as high as 18k rumored. It'll put out in the 450-500 HP and lb ft numbers so power won't be an issue, it'll be the frame strength while trying to keep it in the half ton class.

Nice well some where there was rumors of them sharing a frame with the Tacoma's that wouldn't work I wouldn't think. But hell those numbers would mean I would need a bigger camper lol

The 2 will share a 'platform' is what they're calling it. What exactly is shared though is all guesswork right now.

    https://www.autoblog.com/2019/04/08/toyota-tacoma-tundra-trucks-shared-platform/

So the Tundra could get extra pieces to increase strength while the main frame would be common.
