Going to keep the factory head unit

    Speakers:
    Front: Focal P165 V1 6.5 component
    Rear: Focal 165AS 6.5 component
Sub: 1 10" Jl Audio slim sub (hold over from F150 system - trying to save a few bucks here). I will try this first, if I am not satisfied, I'd get that custom dual 10" box with the JL audio subs from tec12.

AMP: JL audio 700/5V2 (had this model in the F150 and absolutely loved it)
    Processor: Audio Control LCQ 1
Speaker Brackets for front and rear doors from tec12
    Probably some type of Dynamat

I would also like to keep the additional speakers in the dash working after adding the upgrades, I am not sure how to accomplish that with what I am adding?

Anyways, am I missing anything for this install? Any feedback or advice on what I have planned? I will be buying most items slowly off of Ebay as I have done in the past with good luck.

    Thanks in advance

I would recommend looking at the Rockford Fostgate DSR1 processor with the TO3 cable for plug and play to the factory connectors for the JBL entune systems, if you are keeping the factory head unit

I don’t have a windows based computer, the DSR1 gets some negative feedback regarding the download frustration. Can’t I basically do the same with the LCQ1?

I believe that James at tech12volt sets it up the dsr1 for you. I could be wrong.
Ask James about the lcq1 with the jbl system...he will know best. Usually he recommends a full blown signal processor.
As far as the dash speakers, those are powered by the head unit. I tried to keep them like you want to, but there was a huge volume discrepency between the door speakers and the dash ones. You can give it a try.....if you like it good, if not...you can disconnect them (easies option), or power them off the front channels of your amp like I did. You may end up blowing the factory dash tweeters though, James makes an upgrade kit.
