Skid plate gap after suspension upgrade

Hi -

So, my new suspension (Fox 2.5 with coilover and reservoirs) has been installed and I have a few question -

The install included a (front) differential drop kit.

I removed my tow hooks to paint them red during this process. I noticed that there's this gap between the skid plate and the frame.

Has anyone else experienced this? Won't this make the tow hooks useless?

It’s due to the diff drop if no other hardware was included. I think ReadyLift sells a hardware kit so you can reuse your pro skid plate with a diff drop

 

how much lift did you get ? the diff drop is not necessary.

 

I only got it leveled.
