    2006 Tundra TRD
    Hi,

Recently purchased a 2006 Double Cab TRD Tundra two weeks ago w/80k miles. After a few hours of seat time I've locked in on a specific clicking that is occurring while turning the wheel. It happens at exactly the same spot which is about 3-5 degrees clockwise and I can consistently make it happen. It only happens when slowly turning the wheel but can be repeated while driving and while sitting still. I removed the airbag, wheel, spring and the cruise control pieces and then slid the empty steering wheel back on and still could feel and hear the clicking. My assumption is that it is coming from somewhere in the universal joint in the shaft. Has anyway had any experience with a similar issue and if so how was the repair?

    Thanks
