    Hey guys,

I have a 2010 CM Sr5 with 165k and was thinking about doing the Toytec boss lift. I have 3 questions:

    1. I don’t want to “stress” the other parts of the truck by doing a 3-1...any pointers?

    2. Anyone install this at home? I’d like to do it myself for the experience...any links would be great.

    3. how do I get the best price on it?

thanks in advance for all the help. I love this forum!

I can help with two of those....

first any lift will put some kinda stress on your other components. 90% of people here I’d say run 3” lift safely with not many issues. The boss stuff should be a nice upgrade for you.

second- I’ve installed a lot of Toyota lifts and levels. I do it all from home and have taught others in my area. If you are somewhat mechanically inclined you shouldnt have issues. All nuts and bolts. Takes me about 45min a side up front to do coilovers and maybe 30 for the rear each side.thats with air tools. One thing I can point out tho looks like your truck is roughly 10 years old I would spray some penetrating oil on all the nuts and bolts I plan on removing. Give it 48 hours to soak in.

    I can give
U a break down on the steps of removal and install if you need it just shoot me a message.

    Alot of them

Here you go....installation instructions. Loosening the lower control arm bolts (you will need an alignment anyway) will make life a lot easier during the install.
