Best bed cover

Looking for a rolling bed cover and don't know where to start.

My friend has a Retrax MX. It’s really nice and can hold up to 500 lbs of weight on top. If I hadn’t gone with a Diamondback cover, I probably would’ve gotten the Retrax.

 

I picked up a used Retrax last week. I love it.
Opens and closes smoothly, looks great, locks easily. I would have preferred one of their metal ones, but I couldn’t pass up this deal.
I am very pleased.

 

Same here. Looked at Retrax and went with the Diamondback HD. Couldn’t be happier.

 

I just installed a BAK Revolver x4, its ok. Coming from a vinyl roll up (Access Vanish) it's a step up as far as the finish of the cover itself and no flapping around in the wind. Not sure if it's worth the x5 price tag. It leaks a bit, the termination at the tailgate isnt so good. I would give the Access Vanish a 3/10 and the x4 a 6/10. The vanish will get the job done at a fraction of the cost. The x4 will be a step up, but it's not perfect and is pricey.

 

I have a bak revolver x2 and I love it. No leaks, install wasn't bad, it can support my weight when I get up on it to clean my roof and the cover.

 

Had a Retrax Pro on my 2010 tundra xsp , biggest piece of crap I ever made a mistake of buying . Leaked like hell from the sides and around the canister . Tried for months to adjust it but eventually gave up . The place I bought it from couldn’t troubleshoot it and finally told me they didn’t know what to tell me , nice . Traded the truck 6 months later with the cover on it . $1800.00 down the drain . Now I have an Undercover solid streamlined cover for $1400.00 on my 2019 Limited and love it . I made the same mistake on a retractable cover in 2008 on a Tacoma and took it back the first week for the same leaking problem but I thought they had come a long way since then . So I recommend that you get assurance from whoever you buy one from that it won’t leak .

 

I've got the Roll-n-Lock A-series, absolutely love it! Worth every penny.

 

Truxedo Pro X15. Maybe not the best, but for me it is.

Looking to get this as I am on a budget, need a new toolbox too lol.

Is it hard to install? Never had a cover before. Can you get me some pics of how it’s clamped? I have the rail system. Thanks.

 

I had a Retrax on my 2002 Access Cab and really liked it. Was going to get one for my CrewMax but didn't want to lose the foot of bed space for the canister. I ended up with the Truxedo Lo-Pro on my Crewmax and like it. It doesn't leak and comes with a lifetime warranty.

 

Rugged Cover 2 tri fold! Wouldn’t have anything else.

 

I was conflicted where to put this question without starting a new thread on a worn subject. This seemed to be a catch all and most recent. My new(to me) truck came w a Retrax pro and a carpet liner. It appears to leak just a little bit on both sides near the tailgate. Do you think a tailgate gasket would address this? Or do you have other advice on where to start chasing this down?
