Remote Start Aftermarket

I've been searching this forum but could not find much about adding remote start. I have a 13' Base Crew Max TRD/RW. Any suggestions on the best aftermarket system to look for?

 

Tech 12 offers a plug and play unit (see thread below) that looks really promising. Others on the forum seem to be happy with the easy install and the ability to reuse the factory fob.

I just installed a plug and play Fortin unit. Been happy with it so far. Pretty easy install

 

I got a python unit installed. 1.5 mile range but obviously that’s clear line of sight. Installed, with the key module it was close to $800. Pretty good unit, very easy to use. My brother has one on his Chevy he likes it and his is about 2 years old. I like the 2 way paging and I can look if my remote says my truck is locked.

 

Not a tundra but I’ve had the tech12volt in my wife’s 4Runner for a few years now. Easy install, no complaints. Stays running when you open the door and uses the factory fob.

 

I have the viper remote start. I also subscribe to the tracking and phone app. So nice to be able to lock truck for Various package deliveries.

 

I got a compustar CSX with mobiledrone. Remote has 3000ft range.
