I currently have a German Shorthair and a lab/border collie mix, both are full of energy and have no problems jumping in the truck. But, my previous lab was 90 lbs before she passed. If she was still around, I would probably buy a 4"-6" foam mattress topper and cut a few sections to make a level 'bed' across the floor. throw a sheet or blanket over it and it would be comfortable as well as help with any possible hip/joint issues. just my thoughts but someone else may have a better idea.

I love the breed. This is my 3rd Boerboel. I rescued Bodhi. Unfortunately with the breed gaining popularity there are some breeders out to make a quick buck. The Boerboel definitely need a owner with dominant breed experience. They are amazing dogs. I recommend rescuing as there are many needing a fur ever home. PM if you, or anyone would like more information on the breed.

Sorry i dont have pictures. But both my 65lb husky and 100lb lab both sit in the back comfortably with the seats up. I would put stuff in the footwells and place their dog beds over it. Worked great. Should be able to lift the 60% side for the dog and still use the 40% seat for the child seat with no issues. How you set it up depends on how much money you want to spend. You can make it look nice with plywood platforms or just stuff some old towels/cloths in the footwell and place a dog bed over it. Lots of room in the back seat of a crewmax. You'll be surprised.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing about using dog beds or foam or even plywood to level out the floor and then cover with another dog bed. We have a ramp he uses to get in the 4Runner now so I’m hoping he can do the same in the tundra.
I want to buy a good dog mat/ hammock style that clips between the front and back seats but I want to find one that is deep enough to sit in the floor with the back seat flipped up. (Black interior with a big white dog might have been a bad choice).
Anyone know of a good seat cover that is big enough to reach the floor?
I might have to just get the biggest I can find and modify the straps/clips so they reach the headrests while sitting on the floor with the backseat flipped up.

Not sure on covers. I use a fitted mattress sheet to cover the back seats. Works like a charm to keep husky hair out of the fabric under the seats.

My Brittany prefers "his" recliner. He would probably be smoking a cigar and sipping some of my single malt if he had opposable thumbs.

I looked everywhere for a decent seat cover, nothing seemed big enough. I ended up making my own. I still have some changes to make to . It cost me $30.00 so far. I’m going to make door panel covers, all said and done the cost will be $40.00 and about 1 hour to make
