Still getting used to all the different nuances between my new Tundra, and my last trucks. Here's my question, when first turning on the defroster on a cold morning, does your A/C compressor seem excessively loud and abrupt when it kicks in? I know its normal for it to turn on, but i don't ever remember it being so loud that its this noticeable...Thanks.

No, can't even tell when it turns on/off, little to no drag 'seen' on tach at idle and no sounds. But of course, its not near as cold in central texas as where you're at....perhaps that plays a role?

Luck and enjoy those Toyotas. : ^ )))
