I just bought a 2009 Toyota Tundra SR5 4.7L extendcab and I’m wondering does anybody know if it has the autostart option?

Does anyone have a 2009 Tundra that came stock with an auto starter on the fob?

A lot of us are running the Fortin Evo unit that works with 3x click of lock on the OE fob. Range is limited to the fob, but beats carrying around an extra controller. The Fortin Evo unit is sold by a bunch of different vendors. It's almost plug n' play for early 2nd gens. There are a couple wires you have to tap. If you can install an aftermarket head unit, you can install the Fortin unit.

I doubt an SR5 came with a factory remote start. I got a compustar 4905s put in last year at Bestbuy. It was 300 bucks installed and has about a half mile range on the FOB so it just barley works for me at work. I put the viper kit on my wifes car this winter. the fob isn't nearly as good as the compustar, but I signed her up for the mobile app so we can start it from wherever we want.

    Not nearly enough room here!
A couple wires to tap on the 2nd Gens, 'IF' you have the 'G' Key, if not, from what I've seen so far, you have to tear into the dash with a hatchet and chainsaw!:D
