I designed a transmission cooler mount to fit the Hayden 777HD cooler. The mount is tested and fits directly behind the grill using the two factory m8 1.25 threaded taps on the frame bar and the top near the grill. The mount is made out of 1/4in aluminum 6061 and is bare metal. The mount will come with stainless steel hardware used to mount it to the truck minus the spacers you will need to space it from the top and bottom mounting locations. I ordered two on accident so this one I am selling for cheap. 100$ plus shipping from california.

Nice bracket. If I wasn't in another country...

What was the total width of the plate before cutting and did you have a local shop do this or yourself.

It's 10" x 20". I made it through CAD softwarw and had a shop do the cutting. I drilled the holes for all the bolts to fit. This is a good deal for anyone who wants to add a cooler to their 2019-2020 tundra. I paid 150$ for this plate to be cut plus I'm including all stainless hardware. I will be doing a full write up on my install within the next few weeks.

If or should I say when I take this on I might go with the 778 cooler as I tow a 6500 lb 5th wheel, so would need a slightly larger bracket. I noticed the 777 is rated for 5,000. Not sure if you tow or not?

I presume you are hooking the 777 inline with the factory cooling system? If so the 777 would be in addition to that so the 5000 rating would be in addition to the factory cooling, so should be good for anything our trucks could tow. Am I off on this?

The 777 is very similar to the 778 as far as the BTU cooling per hour. Additionally, I didn't want to find a new location for the horn since it would get in the way with the extended bracket. Being in the front of the truck and a few inch clearance in the rear of the cooler to the radiator, I think this will be plenty for whatever you want to tow.

2019+ tundras do not have a thermostat nor a "cooling" system. They just come with the warmer.

Great design here. I'll bet there would be others wanting to purchase for those that don't have the towing package.

More cooler doesnt mean more cooling. The thermostat will open I believe around 195 ish degrees. So in theory, if the 777 can handle keeping the ATF at 195 in all situations (which it should) there is no point in going any bigger.

Yeah I was checking the two coolers again and it's hard to decipher just exactly what they mean. The 777 does say GVWR up to 24,000 lbs., towing up to 5,000 lbs. Meaning it will cool 29,000 lbs rolling down the road? Regardless I only tow a couple times a yr and right now I have no cooler anyways, lol.

    Do you tow anything yourself?

I havnt towed with this truck yet. People have reported above 210 degrees at the pan just driving down the highway. I see around that as well not towing.

I just finished the 16 page thread on this topic. I am now informed. I'm looking forward to your install write up. Are you going to be offering this as a future product?

I honestly was not thinking of offering the bracket as a product I'm selling. Although, I did spend many hours taking measurements and looking at the truck to find the best mounting location. If I get enough people wanting a bracket I wouldn't mind getting a batch and sell them.

I'd be in. I'm still trying to figure out the trans connections (if the pre 2019 trans thermostat part works or not). Perhaps you have some insite on that....
