How much wheel clearance?

I recently got 6112s put on at 1.9. 285/75/17s on Method wheels. Not sure what the off-set is. I had to trim front wheel well plastic and install bumper shims to get rid of rubbing on the front.

My question is how much room do I need to justify NOT getting a body mount chop? I don’t seem to have rubbing on the frame in parking lot situations but I have very little clearance. Wondering if I should just get the chop to make sure. How much clearance do I really need? TIA for thoughts.
