2003 Firewall Access....

Looking for access thru the firewall. No real good pictures of the first gen, and the harness & grommet seem to go right behind the upper part of the dash. Any thoughts/pics?
Gonna be running the wiring harness for my fog lights on Tuesday.

 

Look straight forward between your E-brake pedal and side panel.

 

On the engine bay side you'll find that grommet between drivers fender and your master cylinder. You can see a red wire for my lights going in there.

 

Oooo! Look at that clean brake fluid!

You can also go for the grommet under the drivers floor board.

 

Or drill a hole and put a grommet in it anywhere you want!

If you told a turd gen’r this they’d be worried about warranties being voided and trucks rusting out in 6 months. Hahahaaha. OMG!

 

Worked perfectly, with the exception of blowing my ECTS fuse...
