Entune 3.0 apps??

I recently traded in my '15 Tundra Limited for a new '20 Tundra SR5. The new one has the Audio Plus 8" screen with Apple Carplay, Bluetooth, etc. The resolution is very good on all the screens, even Google Maps in satellite mode.



One question I'm having concerning the infotainment system is with Entune 3.0. When I press the "Apps" switch, this is what I see for Entune App Suite...




Shouldn't there be quite a few more apps like Yelp, Fuel, Weather, etc.? I'm not sure if I need the Premium Audio or some other version of Entune or something. I know the original version of Entune I used in my 2015 Tundra does not work with the newer 2020. Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with a new (2020) Tundra and Entune 3.0

I have the same thing. I’ve never used the Entunes apps in my previous Toyotas, so I’m not sure what is supposed to be there.

 

They are under info. No clue why they aren’t under apps and it drove me crazy until I found them. But even the owner’s manual says under info.

 

Thanks. I went back and referenced the "info" section in the manual, and apparently the apps I'm looking for are only available on the Premium sound systems.

 

ok that's dumb. i didn't have premium on my Tacoma and they were all included. the gas one for me is important. have you tried setting fuel to your homescreen?

 

I have a 2020 Pro with the JBL Premium Stereo and my app screen looks the same as yours. No useful information. As already mentioned, everything appears to be under info button.

 

There is no "fuel" to set to a home screen. When I press MENU, to the left of the screen, I get this



Then when I press INFO, all I get is this...



That appears to be the extent of my Entune 3.0 apps. My morony window sticker shows Audio-Plus, but nothing about Premium or Entune. I'm thinking I have a lower-end stereo, but now that duerrs is stating that he has a JBL Premium with no apps either, maybe it's an Entune 3.0 thing or something.

 

Eco is fuel.

Edit: That’s lame that the other stuff isn’t there. I’m gonna look and see if there’s a way to download them. That would irritate me

 

I guess part of my confusion on the apps, was that in my '15 Tundra there was a fuel app that was more like "Gas Buddy". It would tell you where the nearest gas station was and/or the price of gas at the stations.

 

ahh ok. Hmm. I’d bet there’s something app wise that works with CarPlay?
