1794 Puddle Lights?

I just got a 2020 1794 and my puddle lights are not coming on, what setting and where to turn them on? I just bought the truck and I will be reading the owners manual probably this weekend just wanting to know a quick setting for the puddle lights. Thanks.

 

On my 17 they only come on when you use the remote to unlock the doors and only for about 15 seconds. They don't come on when you open the doors or when you turn on the cargo lights. If they aren't coming on when you push the unlock button, then I can't help any.

 

On my 18, i can change light and chirp options via stereo settings.

 

Yea I discovered this mother that it's only when I unlocked the truck.

 

Yes you can change duration here. Not very intuitive to find.

 

Side note, I changed out my 2018 1794 puddle lights to VLED ones, much brighter. 5 min upgrade.

On my 2020 Platinum the puddle lights come on when I get close to the truck even before I touch the handle to unlock. This is assuming the truck is locked and the key in on my person. My Limited 4Runner had this same lighted approach feature.
