I'm trying to install a kenwood stereo in my 2007 tundra. I bought a maestro rr and to1 harness only 1 of the harness plugs seem to match up. 4 of them dont seem to match up at all.

I can't say for sure with that particular harness, but it is common for harnesses to be compatible with many models of a vehicle brand. They will have multiple plugs just like yours but only use one, maybe two of them.

Again, I can't speak for that particular brand, but its common with many other ones.

Mine had multiple plugs. I only used one and removed the others.

find the install manual on their website and fallow the instructions for your particular audio trim (jbl, non jbl) majority of the harness is for retention of the factory jbl amp and other stuff for the newer trucks. you can honestly clean up half the harness by cutting out what you don't need. make sure you flash the module if you are retaining steering wheel controls.

I hooked it up and everything seems to work. I undersand there being left over plugs on the maestro harness but i don't understand there being left of plugs coming from the factory harness on the truck. Oh well. Everything seems to be working

Did everything work as expected? Any issues with your backup camera? I’m having a similar install experience in my 2008...thanks!
