I may have to look into that. It's a ford taurus but has a Yamaha 3.0. I'm betting ford exhaust.

Shoulda fitted a short bed and bobbed the frame!

Saw a pic of one like that from last year's Jambo. It was SAS'd as well. Sick

A bobbed reg cab would be fun. The frame extends to the rear of the bed. Would be fun to try and do that

Replaced the PCV valve and spark plugs. PCV didn’t look too great, plugs weren’t bad at all, suspecting the previous owner did them somewhat recently. Then power washed it to get it ready for a detail sometime over the break.

Engine bay is still looking good, Shiny has faded to a nice satin sheen.

Fluid film up next while I wait for my LBJ’s to arrive...

It would likely be cheaper then since they won’t try to markup the parts

magnaflow are the only cats I’ve had luck with. My walker on my corolla only

Ya, maybe I will go with magnaflow. I wanted a direct fit one so it was between walker and magnaflow

I recently went magnaflow. I do get a P0430 here and there (can't find a rhyme or reason from driving conditions/ambient etc) but I have TorquePro and just clear it and it stays off.

I do kind of regret getting them as I want long tube headers and didn't realize you have to modify the cats to make them work and I think magnaflow cats are 2-2.25" where I think the JBA headers are like 2.5-3" outlets......Spent $550 replacing them just to realize I'll probably replace the entire exhaust system ...eventually...

    20.084 gallons. 11 mpg.

Getting better. Weight in the bed has helped traction tremendously.

shocks are ordered and springs with isolators (I’ll get mounts locally). Gotta get the lower control arms, lower ball joints, and sway bar links still.
Already have new uppers from my Tacoma since it’s new spindles have uniballs.
Thursday going to visit Eastwood and get some landau black and might order black carpet before the end of the year.
Also going to hit weather tech and get my window vents and floor mats.

trucks close to done. Need sliders too.

Merry Christmas all. I decorated some cookies for santa with my little copilot and as soon as we started drawing stuff he said "truck, truck, daddy truck!" and then this happened haha.

Me too, but I was thinking that if I liked the cover maybe I could paint my airbag cover black to match it. The buttons would still be tan. I'm not sure I hate that look now that I'm thinking about it.

Was watching some youtube last night and saw a military green wrapped car and thought the tundra may look good with it. I work at an architectural signage firm and have some experience with vinyl applications so i may order this through my company and give it a shot. Did a quick overlay in Corel to give an idea (only spent about 5 mins on this so don't judge)..Thoughts?

Merry christmas! Anyone know of where I can get a OR fab skid plate/cat protector or something similar? I wish I saw it before I got my cats stolen, but it is unfortunate they are discontinued.

Could look good, military green toyota’s never been too high on my list but its hard to make a tundra look bad! I have always been a fan of toyota’s stellar blue pearl or evergreen pearl. I hope to repaint my truck later on in one of the two

I would go darker, quite a bit darker, a few shades darker than black. Then I would drive around in the dunes of my fish tank.
    PicsArt_12-25-10.43.35.jpg

All jokes aside, I would go a bit darker, more into the olive spectrum for the military look. Hard to get a feel on what hue you're after because the color has such a gradient, the front fender and both bumpers look good to me.

It's just an overlay so it's not a solid color in the pic. The color is called 3M military green. It's a standard color from 3M but I felt this representation was fairly close for a quick mock up.

Yeah that sounds like a good color. Wasn't knocking the mock up, just hard to sense the tone there. I'd go for it.

This might shock everyone but I originally wanted a green truck, and if I ever repaint it I'm probably going olive.
