Odd situation. In the year since I drove the truck off the lot it has a small creaking sound. It’s not a big deal but would like to find it. It sounds like it is coming from the base of the windshield. Therefore I would assume it is the windshield cowl but nothing is obvious.

So far I’ve eliminated the loose bolt behind the glove box theory. Also, lubed the bolt/bushing behind the grill that others have said is squeaky.

Any other ideas or solutions out there?

My 1 month old 2020 PRO has a little creaking sound coming from the passenger side on rougher roads. The colder it is outside the more noticeable it is.
Dealer traced it to the passenger side A pillar trim. First try they shaved some plastic off on the inside that they thought was rubbing down at the base of the windshield but that didn’t cure it so now they ordered a new trim piece.
    Hope that helps

Thanks for chiming I’m. I spent another hour poking around in the engine bay last night and I solved the mystery. Feels good to repair stuff on your own sometimes!

1: The windshield washer fluid hose that runs along the interior of the inner engine bay fender on the passenger side is moving and tapping the fender. Adhered a small white rectangle adapter to the inner fender and zip tied the hose so there is no longer a tap and the hose can’t move. See the first photo?

2: The ‘louder’ creak was coming from the area that I thought was the passenger side windshield cowl and what looks to be the A/C lines or break lines, along the firewall. They each sit in a plastic bracket that is designed to keep them from moving, bending or touching each other. When I applied a little pressure to them, they all replicated the creaking sound. I generously hit each of the fixed mounts with Blaster spray dry lubricant ($5 @ Lowe’s) and the creak is gone. See photo 2? Drove around all day today with a big grin on my face.

Hopefully this can help someone else.
