Opinions? Been thinking about a tonneau cover, but the Decked system seems to make better sense. I like the idea of lockable, weather resistant storage, while still having access to the bed.

I just sold mine. Had it a few months. Put on the rail tie down and had a few boxes.
It’s very sturdy and loved that it locked and can carry a lot of gear on top.

Why'd you get rid of it?

Need to carry two full size spares in the bed, with Decked only one. Plus gear and fuel, water also wanted to be lighter for when I used my RTT.

Mine was installed when I bought it. Durability, quality storage to say the least. Combined with my topper though, I have little storage space left. For example, I would have had to remove my topper or rent a small trailer to take home a hot water heater.

If you have enough stuff to keep with you at all times, it's amazing. Otherwise, I would look for modular or removable storage.

It’s great for storing small gear and tools. I also had a bed rack and still limited the area like a full size spare had to lay next to each other rather than stacked.

I bought my truck with it in it, and I have love/ hate feelings about it. I already have a pelican case that houses majority of my tools, so tool storage doesn't effect me as much. The one thing I do enjoy about it, is I can pretty much fit everything I need for camping, in both those drawers, and that keeps my cab clear, the downside is the 4 ish inches of bed space that you have remaining. So coolers, totes, or whatever else you have in the bed sticks up pretty far in the back window. I definitely don't feel comfortable putting a dirt bike on top of the decked, and strapping it down, the front tire is too close to the back window for my liking, but it could be done. I've also opened the drawers quite a few times and had water in them from rain or snow, which, as long as you don't carry anything that gets messed up from water, it's not a huge deal. In the end, I'm gonna end up putting a cap over my bed anyways, so the drawer system will come in handy, and it can stay because of that.

I had one for about 6-8 months in my last truck. Overall, I really liked the system. I keep a lot of gear in my truck and liked that it was easier to reach than if it was stuffed in a truck box. I decided to sell it for two main reasons. First, it's heavy. The one I had for my F-150 (5.5' bed) was 220 lbs. Second, it sucks for loading stuff into your truck. Since it sits up off the deck something like 11-13", it was a PITA to lift stuff onto. You cannot just load stuff onto the tailgate and push it into the bed anymore. You've got to reach over the tailgate to set it on top. The ergonomics are fubar, especially if you've got a bad back like me.
