So, after extensive searching on the site, I pre-apologize if this has been answered already.

Since Santa has provided a very nice Victory 4X4 roof rack kit this Christmas, I now face the dilemma of how to connect all the lighting that will eventually be bolted on the rack. First will be a 40” light bar since the rack has a nice pre-cutout for such a bar.

Eventually, I will also add side work lights to either side of the roof rack.

I’m already freaking out about drilling eight holes in the skin of my virgin roof and popping nutserts through them, last thing I want to do is drill a larger hole for light wiring.

Soo, any advice would be appreciated, or “don’t do this” stories are fine too! My initial thought was to run the wiring in a loom behind the driver side channel and behind the cab and dropping down underneath and forward again to connect to 12V power and connect switches up in the cab.

Thanks in advance for any ideas!
