    Hello Everyone,
My real name is Mary. I have been a Toyota owner for decades, the recent being a 2005 Tundra SR5 2WD, purchased new in July 2005. My first "toy" was a 1983 pickup, purchased the last year of college, my first 'wise' investment. Other "Toys's included a 1998 Tacoma 4x4 and 2003 Solara (Solara was bought from friend who needed extra $$$$) that I drove around until I decided on the Tundra as my only vehicle for sure. I had been eyeing them since their introduction in 2000 and decided what the hey - buy the darn thing, you know you won't be sorry. Haven't regretted that move, even today; even with the scrapes scratches and a few dings and dents in it; followed a couple of youngsters out of a trendy restaurant and one guy made the comment that he wouldn't steal that thing even if the keys were handed to him, not with the ding in the back bumper...the dinged up bumper stays.
It has almost 110,000 miles on it (drive to work 2 days a week) and maintenance has been GREAT!. :rofl:to say the least. But, I don't think I have said anything that anyone else here hasn't experienced...
Anyhow, thank you for allowing me to join, from everything I have read about and watchedhe videos, I have learned so much already.

Again, thank you and I hope everyone has a terrific holiday-

    Mary

Thank you!! Yours is a pretty color, mine is basic color, I guess, medium grey metallic with cloth seats. Do I have a picture of mine? No, not really, unless you consider parts of it when sending those to a friend ( a retired mechanic, if there is ever such a thing..?) to see what needs to be done and if he will drive over to do it...! And yes, he does drive an hour plus to visit (and work on it).
    Have a great Holiday!

I’d steal your truck. Even without the keys. Just the kind of guy I am. Welcome Mary!
