I love this thread, especially on slow days at work, but the ABC pics would definitely have HR in a hissy. The gravel piles and such were clever and I giggled, but the blatantly offensive ones would get the site blocked on the work network. That'd make me sad.

I get that a lot of us have an appreciation for the female form, but there's a time and place. Hell, there's still PMs so it's not like the crues can't still share with each other. I just don't wanna lose access this forum for stuff somebody else posted.

Anyway, if anyone has an issue with the mods cleaning up the thread, you can blame me and those like me that can't have that stuff randomly popping up. I hadn't hit the report button yet, as I hoped it would fade away, but I was going to address the next one that popped up publicly. I'd rather voice it in the open than ninja report. Guess I just had too much patience! Anyway, rant over.

 

I agree, as much as I enjoy seeing it at work because it breaks me out of the bullshit that happens here, it definitely draws a lot of attention and if someone happens to walk by the tool crib while I'm looking at TL and there's an obviously provocative picture plastered on my monitor then it won't go as well as them just seeing forum chat that could potentially a be tool repair forum. I don't open my pm chats while I'm on the computer. That stays on my phone during breaks and lunch.

If we keep letting it happen this place becomes a crap show like TT and TS, and I like to think this is far better than that and has better members.

Only the days that the company already gave us off and the 31st. there's gonna be a roaring 20's party up at Threshers brewing in Maine and if its anything like the 80's night then I know its gonna be a good time. Driving out to Boston on Saturday to pick up my friend from the bus station then I'll be driving him back up to Maine after I get out of work on the 30th and staying till after the party

I didn't have to do too much research as I've seen plenty of movies from the 80's and being a metal fan already had most of the look I was going for. I just went to Walmart and bought a jean jacket that I cut the sleeves off. Mass got hammered with a foot and a half while I was up in Maine for the 1st week of the month and where I was at in Maine only got about 3-4".

 

Yeah, your winters in the Northeast gets brutal! I had to deal with 39* this morning and no rain, just some frost. I have to go to the mountains for our snow!

Yep, definitely an easy costume. The 20s look is gonna be a bit harder but my dress shoes will look the part and I have some baggy cuffed dress pants. gonna try and find a pinstriped vest and a fedora or something to hide the hair as men didn't really have long hair in the 20's
