    Man I don’t get it. You have a nice truck paid for. You are considering going into debt, for what a different color? Life without loan payments would be more satisfying to me.

    Keep. And invest your money. No clue your age. But Your current truck is barely broke in. You bought a Tundra for longevity. Use it.

    Do what makes you happy and can afford, life is short. I'm waiting to order my Tundra until they announce their the new model is coming out, i love having the last year of a generation and won't touch a new model until at least year 3 minimum.

    Jba long tube headers, dirty deeds TRD exhaust (2x24), 19+ Pro lights and grill painted sky silver, TRD rear sway bar, TRD reusable air filter, PnP sliders, pnp full set skid plates, 275/70/18 ko2’s, bully dog bdx (trail setting), c4 hybrid bumper with DD lights(sae fog and driving)
    Sky silver 17’s are the sharpest trucks on the road. Maybe I’m bias :monocle:

    As almost everyone else stated;
    Keep what you have, save for the new Gen Tundra.
    You're, I guess, trading in your vehicle for the same basic vehicle.

    Not just to the OP, but everyone:
    Please don't fall for the mail and emails your dealer sends you about trading in your truck.
    They make more money selling your trade-in than selling a new vehicle.

    2 years ago I looked into to trading my 2014 SR5 for a 2018 limited.
    I was bored while getting an oil change.
    They told me I had to put $5K down to keep the same payments.
    I loled in his face and said 'no thanks', $5K down to buy the same truck for the same payments plus 2 more years?

    Made my last payment last month @60K miles, I still have 12K miles of ext warranty.
    That truck payment will now go into mods and my 401K.

    This is why I think the 17 and 18s are probably going to end up being the most sought after 3rd gens. The 18s will be the only year with TSS with radar cruise and the Trans cooler and the 17 will be for the ones that do not want TSS.
