5100’s top setting. Measures exactly with the back. The ride is so much better now and it fits in the garage!

Thank you. The ride is much better than stock. I highly recommend. I was worried I might have to add a shim but my truck ended up being good. They actually corrected my steering and alignment. It was slightly out. The alignment specs now are where they should be.

302 out the door for the install. I provided the parts.

Are you worried about at top setting? Near that 3 inch ‘danger zone’

just had a shop install 5100 for me and they put on at lowest setting so truck still had factory rake look. I have to have them redo it but I’m contemplating middle setting vs top still .. I’ve got coachbuilder 3 shackles in back and 5100s as well that I put on so right now I’m 41” to edge of fender in rear and 38.25” up front

Not worried at all. Wheel wells to ground measures 39.5”. Still have more than a 1/2” to be at the 3” mark because the 5100s are a little shy of 2.5” at top setting. Truck rides great. I may get new UCA’s in the future but I have ran 2.5 levels on my last two trucks and never had problems due to them and they were spacers. Not to mention the last truck I put 100k on spacers. I can’t stand factory rake In a truck. Time will tell what happens but the thousands of posts and stories I’ve read that convinced me to go the route I did give me piece of mind.

This is my first truck. Looking at it I don't really notice any rake but I'm sure it's there. I'm guessing the factory puts a rake so that when the rear is loaded it doesn't sag? These leveling kits seem pretty popular but what is the purpose, just strictly cosmetic or get the front to sit a bit higher without actually doing a lift?

Put a load in it and see how it looks.

When my truck had a leveling kit it looked like it a dog with two broken back legs at 1/2 capacity.

Removed it as soon as I had the chance.

The 5100 is a huge improvement over stock ride. But yes, its a preference. Bringing the front up 2" is how the PRO sits, which is a nice look

A lot of people never load their beds up. I'm on the middle setting and when I'm slightly over payload it sits dead level. I think its a nice compromise

The 5100's ride softer than stock shocks?

No, firmer but a good firm. Not super duty hard
