Hey guys just got my Bilstein 5100’s installed. Truck drives great looks great and is level. I did notice on my miles to empty it now says fuel level low but I have a 1/2 tank of fuel. Wasn’t like this before level. Could this be something they did or do I just need to unhook battery and re-start?

You may have a fuel sending unit going south.

I would fill up to verify if your actually at 1/2 tank.

If they disconnected the battery it may take a bit to reset. Fill er up, and wait to see if it comes back on

    Okay.
I know for sure it has 1/2 tank. It was filled up a few days ago and that’s where it was yesterday before the level. I wouldn’t think what they did with the suspension had anything to do with my fuel reading. Also the gauge is working just the computer screen is not keeping up. I’ll go fill the truck up and see

Also if the fuel sending unit was going out wouldn’t the truck be starving for fuel?

I’m going to go fill the truck up and see what happens. Also I have like 600 miles left on my bumper to bumper warranty on the truck so if it doesn’t clear up in a day or two I’m goin to Toyota

My only advice was what's been mentioned...fill it up and make sure the level is correct. But since that didn't work I'd say

Get it to the dealership before you drive 561 more miles and your warranty is out...

Any chance the truck slipped off the lift and crushed any tubes wires near tank?

It will be fine; I bet they disconnected the battery for some reason. Takes about 100 miles to reset. I had the same thing happen

Mine just reset. All should be good. Talked to the dealership just in case. They had my video it. While talking to them on the phone it reset back. I think they must have disconnected the battery. Guy told me apparently I purchased the platinum extended warranty without knowing when I bought the truck so I’m good for longer that 36k. Normally I’d be pissed but this time I am ok with it.
Advisor had me video the fill up and gages in case they couldn’t replicate the problem. I also just filled up the truck and it filled up what it should have from what my gage said at a little below half
