Has anyone posted a video/write up about how to route the wires from the head unit to a dash cam or microphone?

I’m not sure why you are wiring a dash cam to the head unit or microphone?

If you get a dash cam with mic, its built into the unit.

For power - Just get a fuse tap, run up the A Pillar and across the headliner. It’s super easy.

Across the headliner, down the a pillar then across the bottom of the dash (either driver or passenger) then pull it up to the head unit. It’s easy and there’s plenty of things to secure the wire to.

you’ll probably need a stiff wire or fish stick to pull it up from under the dash.

I tapped into the power wire for my rearview mirror. Camera comes on when the mirror gets power. Works for me for the last 18 months.

    Working on it :-)
I don't see a place to plug it in on my 17 1794. Am I missing something?
