When in 4W high, light blinks and won't go back to 2W drive.

The Toyota dealer said they will not replace just the plastic housing with the corroded connections. They want to replace the entire front actuator motor. VERY pricey !!

Does anyone have experience with this problem and how to solve it? I can buy the entire assembly from Dorman. Is it possible to separate that plastic housing with the electrical connections and replace that alone?
