So let me preface by saying that about 3 years ago I had a problem with my rack and pinion and it needed to be replaced. A small mom and pop shop did it and when I got it back, the steering wheel controls no longer worked. I brought it back to them and they tried to deny that they had anything to do with it and I raised hell and magically it got fixed when I left it with them and told them to figure it out.
About 9 months later, I blew a tire while driving and literally as soon as the tire blew, a loud staticy, deafening sound started happening from the stock jbl audio system. I had to turn the system off by pressing the big knob on the head unit. Ever since then, it would be sporadic and random when the noise would come back. I could not listen to aux, the radio, or cds. If I turned the volume up to at least 1, the loud deafening sound would come out of all the speakers. Some days it would happen and others it didn’t. It would be a guessing game everyday if I was able to listen to music or not. I’ve dealt with this for 1.5 years and recently, now the deafening sound would come on every day and I could not listen to anything at all.
Because of this, I decided to upgrade my headunit finally and had the dasaita unit installed today. It was working flawlessly all day and I could finally listen to something other than my A/T tires slapping the road. Went home and a couple of hours went past and I had to go to the store. Started the truck up and the loud noise was back when the unit is at any volume other than zero!
The audio shop that I took it to said it could be the amp but I’m not sure. I took it to Toyota about a year ago and they tried to pass it off as mice chewing through wiring then proceeded to reference me to an audio shop because they had no idea what they were doing.
I’m convinced that it has something to do with that day that I blew the flat tire and that had something to do with the mom and pop shop doing something to my steering wheel controls. There’s no way that it was a coincidence that the sound started happening to the millisecond that I blew a flat tire.
It’s been a long battle and please if y’all could help me source this issue once and for all, I’d be very grateful!

Is the Amp aftermarket? If it is, is it connected with rca cables to HU? I had an issue with my one of rca cables failing, and it gave that humming sound from speakers.

Sounds like a broken ground wire to the head unit or amp....I would start at the amp

It's the stock jbl amp. Not too sure if it's the culprit or not still as the loud noise is definitely not the fault of the head unit as it has persisted with the stock unit and now with the dasaita. Debating on whether or not to order a stock jbl amp on ebay to test if it is indeed the amp's fault

Try a wire from the metal case of the amp to metal on the truck, amp is under passenger seat

Watched video., either ground like DSLKSL said, or dead amp. If it's dead amp and 14+ tundra's amp fits your truck, i can give you mine if i still can find it, lol

Checked the ground and it was all good. I forgot to mention earlier that the shop that installed the dasaita also removed the amp and put it back while checking the ground. They thought that it was most likely an internal issue with the amp as well.
Thank you for the generous offer but your amp is not compatible with the 07s. I think i'm just going to order one off ebay and if the issue still persists with the new amp, then i'll just return it and continue troubleshooting
