Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving. I finally got around to upgrading my DC base stereo. I'm in the process of building my deck harness and trying to figure out what's best for a 3 speaker setup using the following equipments.
I was going to go with all Kenwood but got a really good deal on the Powerbase at a third of the price for the Kenwood 6x9 components.

Here's what I have in mind but I'm not sure of a couple things. I'm planning on running the 6x9 alone to the rear channels; tweeter and mid wired in parallel to the front channels. Is it possible to run it separately this way or does all channels have to be ran at the same load?

My other option is to copy Toyota and power just the tweeters off the 9905 but someone said that this would not work for the newer head units? Does anyone know if this is true for the 9905?

I wont be able to test this out until next weekend and just trying to get clarification and plan ahead. Your input is very much appreciative.

I guess there aren't any stereo specialist on this forum. Please close thread moderator.
