When I bought my truck the paint protection film was already installed. Three years in and I am not very happy with how the film is aging. Anyone on here ever removed the film before?

It's like removing vinyl film. Use a heat gun or wait for summer.

There's also a lot of maintenance involved with the tpu protective film or else it'll turn yellow. They don't tell you how to maintain it. When you find out, you'll opt ot of it. A friend of mine had it installed in his CTR and had to have ot ceramic coated as well to preserve the integrity of the tpu $4K+. Not for me.

Thanks for the info. I will let it wait until spring and then try removing. I should have just made the dealer take it off..Live and learn.
