Hey friends, Here is whats going on. Ive been changing some lights out to led. went to change my cargo to led and of course they broke off. Got old rest of old lights out but only one worked. Ran out of time. Went to go to work next day and had brake light on and abs light on dash. Disconnected battery for 30 min and connected. Still on and wont go in gear. looked up on how to push tab in next to shifter and did , got in to reverse and backed out of garage and now most warning lights on in dash and noticed when I backed out had fluid dripping down center of truck. Also blinkers dont work and auto mirrors not working too. Parked it and got ride to work where I am at now. HELP my Tundra friends What the heck did I screw up now!

I doubt the fluid under the truck means anything other than probably the exhaust leaking condensation. Or it’s your blinker fluid. :p

Check the fuses under the dash on the driver side above the emergency brake. You gotta look deep! Most likely you blew a fuse and when that happens everything goes haywire. I don’t know too much about the LED lights but you have to make sure you have the polarity right and don’t short out the tabs.

Shifter physically doesn't want to move, but went into reverse when forced? Did you try other gears and did it feel different when moving etc.?

What type of fluid and from where exactly is it coming from?

What lights are currently displayed on the dash after starting?

Did you cut, splice or otherwise molest the wiring when converting to led?

I recall similar issues when swapping out to LED's and believe it was fuse related. I'll see if I can find the thread for you.

I agree with the poster above, you probably just blew some fuse somewhere and in your hurry and confusion freaked out when seeing condensation assuming the worst.

There is a little button on your steering column underneath a little miniature cover. If you push that button you can Bypass the lock out. It locks out because of an issue with the wiring or a fuse blown etc.

Yes, I am aware. I just wanted to clear up any confusion. I am assuming he just meant that the shifter was locked up, but he said it won't go into gear, which would be a separate./additional issue.
