Once upon a time I owned four Toyotas including a 2008 Tundra and had zero trouble. I got this big idea to own a 2500 Rocky Ridge Duramax diesel. For the next three years I spent majority my days off in the service department. I had two seperate rust issues with the Chevy with Gm fighting me every step of the way to get them fixed I was through. I bought a 2016 1794 with the TRD package in July. I'm so glad to be back. The Duramax did tow very well, so there is no comparison. The quality of the fit and finish could not touch the Toyota hands down. Just ordered a Bamuffler 8", can't wait to install it.
    Glad to be home again!

Welcome back. If Toyota offered an HD I'd be all over it. As it is, we are a two truck family. A ram to tow the big toys, and a Tundra to tow the ram when it breaks down :)

Welcome, I love the toyota product. Had many toyota trucks. Made a mistake and went with GMC as well. Now back to a Tundra.

2008 gmc Sierra, no rust issues. Just getting expensive with engine problems with the auto cylinder shutdown.

Thanks. Yeah that cylinder deactivation is total junk. I know a few people that had engine rebuilds on their dime due to cylinder shutdown failures. You could not give me a newer gas truck with cylinder deactivation. I would rather have a Tundra first and an EcoBoost second.

That is total BS. Clearly that is due to improper finish. Wonder why they gave you such a hard time?

Luckily found that spot because the ROCKY RIDGE fender flares paint was peeling. The dealer fixed that spot, but I found another spot few months later, that they would not fix. I filed numerous claims through GM. Oh well. It wouldn't have cost them a few hundred dollars to fix. They lost me for life.

That is so stupid to lose a customer like that. When I purchased my last truck, I almost went with Chevy over GMC due to cost, but I did like the factory fender flairs to help with chips on the edge of the wheel wells.

You will totally enjoy your new Tundra if you don't tow heavy.
