I have the base model and it’s unique with the front seat being a three seat bench and the shifter is on the steering column. I actually prefer this set up in some ways because it feels more like a traditional pick up truck that I’m used to. And the consul space is plenty for me.

One downside of the base model is the backseat flips down instead of flipping up and out of the way like the other Tundras I’ve seen. The seat is basically in the way when folded down and you don’t have nearly as much space to fit large items in the backseat area as you would if the bottom portion of the seat flipped up like other Tundras.
