Looking to start adding some lighting up front. Really want to go with some ditch lights but recently had my truck broken into and I’m paranoid about things getting stolen. Is this a common occurrence? Has anyone had theirs stolen? Also looking for recommendations on good ditch brackets. Thanks!

@Victory4x4 makes an excellent low profile ditch light mount.

@Caliraisedled makes a great mount also.

As far as things getting stolen. Yes there are people who have had their trucks broken into and I’m sure there will be more. There are so many factors that go into crime, we can’t possibly answer your question correctly. People could steal my ditch lights, but they are going to have to completely cut the wiring at the base of the light. I have a front and rear facing camera that records in parking mode also though. So I will have it on camera. Might not ever happen. May happen tonight.

Thanks for the advice. Like I said, just paranoid now. It’s probably quicker to smash and grab rather than cut wires and unbolt both lights.

Put a tack weld on the bolt/nut and they're not coming off (as) easily.

I’ve got rigid dually ss on Rago fabrication stainless steel ditch light brackets. I’ve been very happy with it

you can get security screw kits but I’ve never worried much about it.
