New to me 2007 with 59,600 miles
I just bought a 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.57 liter V8 with 59,600 miles for 12K. No rust or damage well there is a small dent in the rear bumper. I bought it from a widow whose husband hasn’t really driven it at all in the last three years. The tag on it is from 2017 There is an oil change sticker from 2016 and only 3000 miles on it since then. The driver seat is a little cracked and that’s about it. I had a mechanic look at it and he said if I don't buy it he would.

It does need brakes, tires, oil change, serpentine belt and maybe a right wheel bearing. I'll take care of that Monday.

I'm considering putting a new Radio with Apple Car Play has anyone done that any suggestions?

Is there anything I should look out for?

I checked the VIN and there are no recalls on it.

    Thanks,
    Lenny

    Congrats and welcome from TEXAS.....

Hell I have 60K miles on my 2014.

I have a Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX with wireless Carplay I've been pretty happy with..

It has been discontinued and now Crutchfield has the Pioneer AVH-W450NEX available.

I first had a Kenwood DDX9903S (wired Carplay) , but I couldn't stand the nanny warning that forced me to touch the screen on every startup.

I went with Master Tailgaters , they’re a ton of these company’s out there but I read the reviews and chose this one. Just plugged in to the back of the head unit. I had the place I bought the stereo install everything, I wasn’t that confident in my skills to install everything the right was. Lol it’s been 30 years since I’ve installed a stereo.
