Does anyone know if the 2019 SR5 comes with an OEM hoodpin?

    Good lord no!

It’s what sends an alert to the dash if the hood is popped, I’m asking because I’m about to install my auto start and it’s a question in the install instructions and I’m not sure and cannot find any info on it

I don’t think you need it , I didn’t install one on mine but you may have a different brand remote start

Oh. That would have been good info in the first post then..
I’ve never seen that feature on any Toyota.

My new 2019 sr5 shows the hood popped in the cluster display if I drive without it completely latched. Mine is sr5 with trd upgrade and convenience upgrade package. My 2016 sr5 with no upgrade packages didn't have the hood closed sensor though. Toyota is known for making some odd choices when it come to wiring between different trim and even package levels inside trims.
